Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre

The Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre in New Quay, West Wales is a public information, education and research centre dedicated to raising awareness of the marine environment. The centre offers interpretive displays on a wide variety of marine wildlife with research focused on the bottlenose dolphins of Cardigan Bay, Wales. The Boat Trips The "Sulaire" is a 33ft modern charter vessel, equipped with the latest electronic and safety equipment. The boat is fully insured and licensed with a capacity to carry 12 passengers. The Sulaire is used as the Marine Wildlife Centres research vessel and leads all the survey based trips from New Quay harbour here in Wales. Dolphins are present all year round, with the most sightings from May - September, you can check the sightings page on the website for the latest updates. Sightings cannot be guaranteed as dolphins are wild animals, however dolphins are sited on a very large percentage of the boat trips.
